All Camp Rock employee candidates must submit a pastoral recommendation for consideration for employment. Camp Rock is a Christian Day Camp. It is important that all staff are setting a good example for campers through their personal conduct. All staff must successfully pass a criminal background screening and maintain appropriate certifications for their areas of employment.
Once we have received your application and pastoral recommendation, an interview time will be scheduled. Submitting an application and interviewing is not a guarantee of employment. Priority is given to certified teachers, paraprofessionals, lifeguards, and those having experience working with children.
Summers at Camp Rock are full of fun, excitement, and making a lasting impact in children's lives
One of the most fulfilling aspects of working with campers is knowing that you are helping them learn new skills, build friendships, and make memories that will last forever.
Camp Rock offers a variety of activities for children and teens: swimming, ropes courses, specialty lessons, academic support, team building and more! There will be plenty of opportunity for you to utilize your hobbies, gifts, and talents with the campers!
We work hard as a team to ensure that campers are safe, loved, and have fun! We want their experience to be the best; therefore, staff are provided with continual support, training, and leadership development! We can't wait to see you grow!
Teens ages 12-15 who have previously attended Camp Rock and had exceptional conduct as a camper may apply to participate in the Camp Rock Leaders in Training (L.I.T.) Program. This program provides teens with leadership training and practical application in the areas of child care, culinary arts, team building ropes activities, operations management, business management, and logistical operations. Teens interested in participating will need to complete the application below and schedule an interview. All teen participants will need to pass a background screening and be CPR/First Aid certified.
