We want our parents to feel comfortable that their children are in our care here at Camp Rock!

What Age Groups Do We Serve

Camp Rock hosts of summer of fun for children who are 4years old (fully potty trained) up to age 12 years. We group by age groups, and or combined ages based on the class size of the age. 

  • 4-5 Years (Must be age on date of 1st attendance and fully potty trained)
  • 6-7 Years
  • 8-9 Years
  • 10-12 Years

Staff to Camper Ratios

On average we follow a 1:15 staff to camper ratio. Keeping our class sizes at this minimum allows us to get to know our campers well and makes for an even better camp experience.

Camp Hours of Operation

Camp Rock's day officially begins at 8:00 a.m. however we do offer before care services from 7:00 a.m to 8:00 a.m. Camp Rock's day officially ends at 4:00 p.m. however we do offer after care services from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our drop off and pick up windows are listed below

  • Before Care (additional cost or package selections): 7:00-8:00 a.m.
  • Camp Morning Arrival Drop-Off: 8:00-8:30 a.m.
  • Camp Dismissal Pick-Up Window: 4:00-4:30 p.m.
  • After Care (additional cost or package selection): 4:30-6:00 p.m.

What Are the Ages of Our Staff

All of our counseling staff are over the age of 18 and are often college students or graduates, experienced professionals, summer vacationing teachers, and or retired professionals. All of our staff also undergo training and certifications such as:

  • FBI Fingerprint Background Screening
  • CPS Background Screening
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Pastoral Recommendation for Employment

Multiple other certifications are held by our staff to safely operate Camp Rock.

Where Are Our Facilities Located

Camp Rock is located at 1607 Cromwell Bridge Rd. Baltimore, MD 21234, and utilizes the facility of Rock City Church and the Classrooms of Rock Church Academy (PK-5th Grade). The facility features

  • Private and secure campus
  • Frequent perimeter checks and video monitoring
  • Commercial grade kitchen
  • Swimming Pool
  • Several Acres of Private Woods and trails
  • & So much more

Swimming

Our swimming pool ranges from 3ft to a gradual increase to 5ft in depth. All Campers must complete a water buoyancy test and pass by our certified life guard in order to utilize our swimming pool. Camper passing additional swim test are permitted to the deep end. Our pool is securely gated and monitored while in operation by a certified lifeguard on duty who is also CPR/First Aid certified. 

  • For our littlest a Campers we do make available wadding pools, and other water activities for them to get wet if they are unable to pass the test or if parents prefer they do not use the main pool.
  • Campers on average get wet in some form or fashion every day and may use the pool several times throughout the week but should come with their swimsuits on daily.
  • We do have other water activities and water inflatable slides for older campers unable to pass the swim test.
